CURLEE JO STORY
CurleeJo is a small creative brand named after myself Jo.
I have curly hair and my friends nicknamed me Curly Jo, or CJ for short.
As far back as I can remember I have loved cards and would spend hours walking around card shops. I originally started making my own for customers in our balloon and party shop in 2010, there was a demand for personalised cards and I decided to make simple glitter ones, just hand written text in embossed glitter, these really took off (and are still at the heart of my designs to this day) I then sold generic versions of these into other cards shops.
From there my designs have grown. I love making cards. I design and print at our shop in Hornchurch and all hand finishing is by carried out by a gorgeous group of ladies who love to glue, glitter and giggle.
The majority of cards are hand finished with glitter and genuine crystals, making them much more beautiful in real life than what you see on screen.
